Zoo

17 June 2012

We visited Edinburgh Zoo today, first time visiting the Pandas. The weather was typical Scottish summer, gone is the sun of a few weeks ago. It rained fairly heavily for most of the day, but because of the advanced booking required to visit the Panda enclosure, you can't wait for a weather forecast before committing to go. Wasn't all that impressed with the visit overall, but could very well have had a lot to do with the weather. There didn't seem to be a huge amount to see, perhaps most of the exhibits were sheltering from the rain.

It was also very expensive. Just over £80 for 4 adults and 3 paying children, £4 a car to park, and £4.50 for a children's lunch. But hey, they've got £7 million to pay China.
